About Catalina Colman
With over 15 years of experience, Catalina has led DEI and HR at fast-paced, high growth tech and start-Up companies. An experienced leader in consultation and execution of new initiatives, such as launching a DEI department, implementing a Performance Management program or a managing a Total Rewards strategy.
Catalina has worked for companies that have consistently been recognized for their culture and HR programming. These companies include Built In, Retrofit, Basis Technologies, Echo Global Logistics and Trisect.
Catalina is passionate about innovation and thought leadership in the HR space. She has also been featured by The Wall Street Journal, NPR, the Chicago Tribune, Built In and she was recognized by Workforce Magazine as the 2016 Game Changer of the Year. She also received her M.B.A. in HR Management from Loyola University, Quinlan School of Business.
Originally from Ecuador, Catalina grew up in Queens, NY, but now calls Chicagoland home. She lives with her husband and their two children.
